About Sandhills

We help and guide the owner to train their dog using positive reward based methods of training and applying animal learning theory. By working on the needs and motivations of the dog - from pure bred to cross breed is part of how we train and help an owner to understand; Why does my Dog...?

Better the saying; ' there are no bad dogs, but some are harder to train and live with.'

Rescue dogs are a particular interest of ours. Often dogs arrive in rescue centers during their adolescence; if you are experiencing difficulties with an adolescent dog then please contact us -with some extra ‘back to basics’ training and a little patience we can help you to help your dog avoid developing unwanted behavior during this short period between puppy and adulthood.

Not sure which activity is for you and your dog? Sandhills offers you a chance to decide by holding a split class. You will receive a taster of agility for the first half hour and a taster of obedience for the second. Once you have decided you can switch to a full class of either activity or indeed both activities. Contact details are on the Sandhills website
